Multiplanar reformatted CT images from the systolic (a) and diastolic (b) phases show dilated aortic sinuses, tethering of leaflets (arrowheads in a), and the absence of a coaptation defect (* in b). Echocardiography helped confirm the absence of aortic valve insufficiency.
