Cardiovascular MR in Newborns and Infants with Congenital Heart Disease

Movie 1. Cine in a horizontal long-axis plane shows multiple VSDs and the ASD.

Movie 2. Horizontal long-axis cine shows a dilated, not contracting right ventricle and dilated right atrium.

Movies 3, 4. (Movie 3) Short-axis and (Movie 4) horizontal long-axis cines show marked dilatation of the right ventricle and atrium, and that the venous confluence does not communicate with the atria. The atrial septum defect is not shown in these planes.

Movie 5. Horizontal long-axis cine shows the hypoplastic left ventricle and thickening of the left pleura, which is indicative of transpleural collateral blood supply to the left lung.
