Each year, editorial board changes occur with RadioGraphics and the RSNA Education Center. My sincere thanks for a job wonderfully done goes to those editorial board members who are retiring this July. I will miss those individuals mentioned here, but I know they will be loyal Education Editorial Board alumni and that their expertise has guided and will continue to influence the direction of RadioGraphics. I also want to take this opportunity to welcome new editorial board members. I hope they will enjoy their new roles and responsibilities with the RSNA and the Education Editorial Board as much as I will enjoy working with them on RadioGraphics and RSNA Education Center projects.
Dr Kelly Koeller is retiring as editorial board member for the AFIP (Armed Forces Institute of Pathology) Archives articles. Kelly has done a terrific job in coordinating this series for the Journal. It is one of the most popular RadioGraphics features, as noted in our readership surveys. Dr Angela Levy, the Chair of Radiologic Pathology at the AFIP, is assuming responsibility for this section, and I know she will continue the fine traditions set by Kelly and his predecessors.
Dr Michael Cohen has been a member of the RadioGraphics womens imaging group and has assumed special responsibility for leading the review of breast imaging exhibits for several years. After discussions with Dr Susan Ascher, Education Editorial Board member for Womens Imaging, about the evolution of breast imaging as a subspecialty distinct from womens imaging, I have asked Michael to become a member of the Education Editorial Board and to take an active role in development of the Breast Imaging section. I look forward to working with Michael as he coordinates these expanded efforts.
Dr James Marks has been a member of the Education Editorial Board for Radiation Oncology for 2 years, and he is retiring from radiologic practice and the editorial board this July. Jim has done a great job for several years in reviewing exhibits for RadioGraphics, and I am most appreciative of his efforts and support. With Jims retirement, I have decided to assign radiation oncology exhibits to appropriate subspecialty panels for the purposes of exhibit review and selection.
My thanks again go to all individuals who are retiring from the Education Editorial Board, and I welcome our two new members.
