(a) Close-up posteroanterior radiograph of the upper chest shows a focal area of increased opacity overlying the right seventh rib posteriorly (arrow). (b) Fluoroscopic images show a well-marginated intraosseous lesion (arrow). This finding is consistent with a bone island and obviated further investigation.
