(a) Unenhanced CT scan shows a multiloculated renal lesion with a perinephric component. (b) Contrast-enhanced CT scan shows that the lesion is thick walled with a markedly enhancing nodule (arrow). At surgery, a posttraumatic, intrarenal and perirenal, partially liquefied hematoma simulating a cyst was found. The enhancing nodule proved to be residual normally functioning renal tissue.
