Figure 8.  Traumatic neuroma. A 73-year-old woman underwent a forearm operation because of a median nerve schwannoma (open arrows, lower right image). One month later, she complained of persistent discomfort over the scar region, with a positive Tinel sign. Photograph (upper right) shows location of trauma.
