The mass has low to intermediate signal intensity on the T1-weighted image and increased signal intensity on the T2-weighted image. Some increased signal intensity is noted within the mass on the T1-weighted image (arrow), a finding that is consistent with fat. The scrotal wall and testicle are not involved.
