Figure 9b.  Hematosalpinx associated with endometriosis. Sagittal fat-suppressed T1-weighted (a) and T2-weighted (b) images show a dilated fallopian tube with a folded appearance (arrow). It has high signal intensity on both images and was diagnosed as a hematosalpinx. On the fat-suppressed T1-weighted image (a), a small endometrioma is seen as a tiny hyperintense lesion (arrowhead) on the surface of the hematosalpinx. B = bladder.
